What is Kahuna?
“Kahuna” is a Hawaiian word that can be defined in several ways, and commonly understood as “keeper of the secrets”.
These days in Australia, “Kahuna” is more often used to describe a type of bodywork modality, which is what I offer and am passionate about.
It is a holistic healing modality that is very distinct from any other massage styles. It is very unique and powerful, while many people describe that after receiving a Kahuna session, they have never experienced anything like it before.
Waves and Stillness
With long flowing strokes and fluid movement that flow with breath and music, it provides balance and healing in the body and mind. It works on the physical, mental and spiritual level. It is like meeting waves and stillness of emotions, feelings, sensations, and energies.
Kahuna is indeed a style of bodywork, yet it is based on Hawaiian philosophy principals, which have been passed on as a Rite of Passage in Hawaii, where it has been practiced for a very long time.
It is Sacred. It has been directly passed on to only the selected people.

I have successfully completed the Level 6 training program out of the 7 levels that they offer. My training experiences in Remedial massage, Ayurvedic treatments, Reiki healing and Zen Thai Shiatsu add a unique touch to my Kahuna bodywork sessions.
